He has a brother, Aadar Jain. He is the grandson of the late Raj Kapoor. He attended Regent's University, London for Business Management. Armaan started his career as an assistant director with the film My Name Is Khan followed by films like Student of the Year and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.
